It has been said in therapy circles, “You can only become as
healthy as your therapist has become.” I
think there is some truth to this. I
have been privileged to have been a client of some very special people who were
my therapists; and I am so grateful to them for the insight and wisdom they
have shared with me.
I began my own therapy journey at the age of 20; when I was
depressed and could not look forward to the future with any degree of
hopefulness. I spent much of my 20’s and
30’s trying to figure out what would make me happy and how I could find
it. My 40’s were focused on marriage and
family and how to balance that with a career.
I learned how to be more flexible and still remain true to myself.
I can happily report my life is working well for me and I
have created my dreams.
